**Early Bird** Shore/Kayak Entry – $125.00
Only valid for a Single Shore/Kayak based angler. Others will be cancelled.

Derby Entry for one individual Supports Local Youth Fishing and our White Seabass programs and CCA California advocacy.

This entry fee does not include the $300 Charter fee for the Betty-O. Only valid for Sport Boat anglers. Others will be cancelled.

Entry for one angler in the shore-based or kayak division. Still same fishing zone. Shore-based anglers must possess a valid CA Fishing License. Anglers must weigh fish at Burton Chace Park in Marina Del Rey.

Sport Boat Entry – $150.00

This 51st Annual MDR Halibut Derby is brought to you by Marina Del Rey Anglers and CCA CAL.

Open to anglers of all ages. Boaters, kayakers, and shore anglers are welcome.

Charter options available with local boats in Marina Del Rey: Betty-O or the 6-pack boat Free Spirit. All fishing is within Santa Monica Bay. Entry includes membership in MDR Anglers and IGFA.

CAPTAINS MEETING — Friday, June 6 at 6 PM at Del Rey Yacht Club. One team member must be in attendance.

Fishing ends	Sunday, June 1 at 3:00 PM
Saturday weigh-in	1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Burton Chace Park
Sunday weigh-in	12:00 PM – 3:30 PM at Burton Chace Park
Raffle & Awards	4:00 PM in the park

Scales close at 3:30 PM sharp on Sunday. Any fish not on the scale by then does not qualify.

Charter — Betty O

The Betty O out of Marina Del Rey is offering a special Sat–Sun derby charter. One price covers both days, starting extra early, with return to the docks for both weigh-ins. Call 310-600-3069 to inquire.

Rules & Notes

25% bonus weight is awarded for live-released fish. Please keep fish alive with plenty of fresh seawater.

We encourage IGFA-recognized and approved fishing techniques with one exception: a treble hook is permitted as the trap hook on a halibut rig, provided it is embedded in the tail of the bait. Circle hooks are strongly recommended to reduce damage to released fish.

Note to captains: Judge your travel time carefully. The outer channel limit is 8 knots; inside the harbor it is 5 knots with no wake. Allow time to tie up and transport fish to the dock. Exceptions are not guaranteed, even for extenuating circumstances.
