Your Weight Slip submission does not need to be a Club record. Prior year catch records are recognized at the annual Awards dinner held at the beginning of each year.

MDRA Bent Butt... The biggest Halibut in the Halibut Derby by an active (paid up) MDRAnglers member
earns the right to take this one home for the year.

There are other trophies for the Best Yacht Club or Fishing Club showing in the Halibut Derby.
It is named in honor of one of our founding members Rowan Henry.

Most recently that honor went to Randy Sprout of CYC

The Battle of the Sexes is a Fun one day tournament and split Jackpot fishing day.

60% to the biggest fish caught and 40% to the biggest fish of the opposite Sex.
It has been awarded to women with the biggest fish often enough.

2022 winners were Jeff Compton and Almudena Sancho

There are several Youth Fishing Awards for volunteers and Heros of the charity work.

Over the years many volunteers have helped to fund or helped to take the kids fishing in the
MDRA Youth Fishing Program.

Your Membership in MDRA gets you a chance to win honors.
